Rehabilitate

Horse rehabilitation refers to the process of helping horses recover from physical or emotional trauma, neglect, or abuse. This can involve a range of interventions, including medical treatment, behavioral training, and socialization.

At the heart of our organization lies a vital mission: to provide refuge for horses facing abandonment, neglect, or other forms of distress within the community. Through our steadfast commitment to rescue and rehabilitation, these equines are given a second chance to thrive, whether through re-adoption or by joining our therapy herd.

As of April 2023, "Poppy" officially found her person! Heidi is an amazing and adept horsewoman with a special soft spot for the wildies. We could not be happier to see her fall in love with our sweet Poppy. She truly has a deep understanding and appreciation of Mustangs and their breed-specific idiosyncrasies. She really won the lottery on finding a hope that deeply understands her needs and how to help her become her best self! They have since gone on to grow as partners and compete in local mustang shows.

As of May 2022, ”Sophie” has found her forever home. She is the lucky little personal horse of Jaylee. These two could not be a more perfect pair. Our dream is that every older horse can get their own child to love and spoil them in their golden years... and this time, our dream came true. Congratulations to Jaylee on adopting the sweetest and sassiest ol'gal.

As of February 28, 2021 “Poco” has been ADOPTED! The wonderful Mills family came out to meet him and decided that he would make the perfect friend and adventure companion to their daughter Calista. It was love at the first ride! We are so excited for this awesome guy to have this little gal to look after, and for him to be lovingly spoiled by his new forever family! He has been lovingly renamed “Bear”, which is a name we feel perfectly suits that fluffy, affectionate senior gelding. We love you buddy, and we will miss you… but boy are we so excited for what the future has in store for you and your girl!
